The activity is aimed at increasing the capacity of citizens to defend their rights, development of legal culture and enhancing the credibility of human rights activists.
I. Raise awareness of citizens in the sphere of human rights, promote formation of values in the society, which support the respect of human rights and their understanding:
- Collect, prepare and disseminate in mass-media informational materials, including: internal legislation, internal mechanisms of human rights protection, international legal documents on human rights and comments to them, international mechanisms of human rights protection;
- Create educational audio-, photo- and video-materials about human rights and disseminate them in mass-media;
- Create and disseminate in mass-media materials on the history of development of human rights ideas and the history of human rights protection movement;
II. Strengthen the role of human rights defenders in the society:
- Cover public investigations of the facts of human rights violations conducted by human rights defenders in mass-media;
- Cover conclusions of investigations of human rights violations conducted by human rights defenders in mass-media;
- Promote public condemnation and making public warnings to bodies and (or) persons, whose actions (inactivity) led to violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
IMPLEMENTATION
Creation of media products and placing them on television, on the Internet and social networks free of charge.
